Artist profile
I am a professional sculptor. My creative output varies from the abstract to the naturalistic. My work explores formal qualities and visual language as a means of expressing often complex ideas about the world we inhabit and the nature of human experience and relationships. Recent work concentrates on human form, expressed in a semi-abstract way by manipulating steel, stainless steel and bronze. Work ranges from small gallery pieces to large scale public and corporate commissions. Through my business Broken Mould Studios I provide Art and Design Workshops, Staff Training, Schools Workshops, Sculpture Workshops & Short Courses and Team Building events nationwide. Workshops cover a wide variety of arts & crafts. Workshops are designed to meet the needs of different clients including art practitioners, teachers, health & care professionals, public sector professionals and the business world.
