ArtStand is a group of talented local artists based around Crich, Fritchley, Whatstandwell, Ambergate, Lea and South Wingfield. We meet socially as a mutual support group and organise various exhibitions and art fairs throughout the year. The aim is to promote local artists in our community and raise the profile of arts in the area.

We are a varied mix of both professional and amateur artists and craftspeople. Currently there are 15 members in the group producing a wide range of different arts and crafts.

Creative Genre

  • In the group we have people who paint in watercolour, oil and acrylics. We have some who Lino print and make beautiful pottery. We also have felt landscape artists and sculptors. We also have a photographer and someone who knits so can honestly say we are a multi- skilled group.

Work Undertaken

  • Some of our artists do accept commissions and others are happy to run workshops for individuals or groups.
