Artist profile
I am a ceramic artist with previous experience as an artist in residence and a print designer. I combine printmaking techniques with ceramics by impressing carved Lino blocks into thin slabs of clay to produce highly detailed plaques, vessels and quirky sculptural pieces.Imagery is inspired by the landscape, hedgerows and wildlife of the surrounding peak district countryside. Work is available locally at Cromford Studio and Gallery, and via my website. I have a social practice working with learning disabled in a sensory way to support them with craft activities.
