Based in rural Derbyshire, but working nationally as well as regionally, Ava Hunt Theatre (CIO) – is an Award Winning company with a commitment to creating stimulating, high quality theatre and workshops for community audiences and young people.

We want to contribute to a society where compassion, cohesion and collaboration are valued at the heart of our communities, and where all people are recognised and treated equally.

  • and unaccompanied asylum seekers produced Award Winning - Destinies. (2019/2020/2021) Commissioned by Amnesty International Wirksworth - a Solo performance exploring the role of the by-stander for community audiences set in Palestine - Acting Alone (2015/2016)
