Amy Vallance Artist

Amy Vallance is a Derbyshire born artist, with an MA in fine art at Derby university, her work encompasses political themes of disability, mental health and feminism. Using multiple mediums to describe sensitive subjects with a deep underlining message. Vallance has a passion for standing up for inequality and diversity using her own experiences as well as others, she aims to approach these hard to tackle subjects through expression and materiality. Using her practice in this way becomes a self healing process in understanding the challenges of being a disabled female in this ever changing society
