The FORMAT27 Photobook Market callout is open!

 

The countdown to FORMAT27 has begun, and we’re excited to share the first announcement for the upcoming festival: the FORMAT27 Photobook Market is now open for applications!
Taking place from 12–14 March 2027 at Derby Market Hall, the Photobook Market will bring together publishers, artists, independent presses, collectors and photography enthusiasts for a weekend celebrating photobooks, print and independent publishing.

With PLAY as the theme for FORMAT27, the market will be an opportunity to discover new publications, revisit familiar favourites, meet the people behind the books and explore the many ways photography can be shared, experienced and enjoyed.

Be part of the market…

 

We’re inviting photobook publishers, independent magazines, rare book traders, artists and photographic equipment sellers to apply for a stall and join us in Derby.

Whether you’re an established publisher or an independent maker bringing your work to a wider audience, the market offers a chance to showcase and sell your publications, connect with fellow creatives and meet photography lovers from across the community.

Stall options:
Half table — £55
Full table — £100
Double table — £180
Barrow — £100

All prices include VAT, weekend hire and two chairs. A 20% discount is available for students and student groups.
Applications are open until 15 November 2026.
