What's on

Birdcatcher By Laura Waldren

Event details

t’s hard to figure out a future when everyone around you thinks there isn’t one.
Funny, dark and sharply observed, Birdcatcher is a coming-of-age story with a difference. Laura Waldren’s striking new play asks what it takes to find your own voice inside an apocalyptic high-control group. With wit running through its darker edges, Birdcatcher explores the pressures of growing up into a world where the end is always just around the corner.
Directed by Pentabus’s BAFTA-winning Artistic Director Elle While, Birdcatcher is the world premiere of a brand-new play from the Papatango Prize-winning writer of ‘astonishing debut play’ ★★★★ (The Telegraph) Some Demon.

A Pentabus production in association with Papatango Theatre Company and Middle Child Theatre.
