Peak Vision Arts November Showcase

Peak Vision Arts Bring Artistic Christmas Shopping Experience to Chapel-en-le-Frith

An exceptional collective of local artists comes together for a special two-day showcase on 21–22 November.

This autumn, shoppers are invited to discover something truly special on their doorstep as the six talented Peak District artists who make up Peak Vision Arts, come together once again for a truly unique showcase event at 89 Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith.

Following the great success of their summer exhibition at the Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek, the collective is bringing their work together again and welcoming visitors to view and purchase an exceptional range of beautifully crafted jewellery, one-of-a-kind ceramics,  atmospheric landscapes, illuminating lampshades, tactile textiles and richly layered mixed media artworks; there will be something to appeal to every taste and budget.

The showcase features:

Julia Brownsword – 2D and 3D mixed-media landscapes, lampshades and lanterns

Em Hoten – paintings using oils and cold wax

Jan Hoyle – felt and textile art

Yuka Jourdain – contemporary jewellery
Ingrid Katarina Karlsson – layered mixed-media narratives
Louise Neilson – hand crafted ceramics

With Christmas just around the corner, the event offers an alternative to high-street shopping providing unique, bespoke and handmade gifts created by artists living and working in and around Chapel-en-le-Frith. Buying directly from local artists not only means finding something genuinely individual for your loved ones but also helps support the creative community that we are lucky to have on our doorstep.

Come and discover what this exceptional collective of artists has to offer and perhaps find the perfect Christmas gift too.
