What's on
Ignite your imagination and make your own eco-friendly Diwali lantern using biodegradable materials along this year themes of ‘Heroes’ and ‘Light’. Join our family-friendly workshops to craft a glowing tribute to a personal role model, local legend, or superhero. Led by our expert artists, you’ll create your own eco-friendly lantern using willow, bamboo and tissue paper. Suitable for adults and families with children 5+ (children under 7 must be accompanied).
Illuminate your lantern with a battery-operated LED light (not included) and bring your finished lantern to our Lantern Parade on Saturday 28th November (in your superhero costumes!) to showcase your lantern and light up the city centre.
