What's on
Ignite your imagination to make your own eco-friendly Diwali lantern using biodegradable materials along this year themes of ‘Heroes’ and ‘Light’. Join our family-friendly workshops to craft a glowing tribute to a personal role model, local legend, or superhero. Led by our artists, you’ll create your own eco-friendly lantern using willow, bamboo and tissue paper. Suitable for adults, families and children 5+ (children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult.)
Illuminate your lantern with a battery operated LED light (not included) and bring your finished lantern to our Lantern Parade on Saturday 28th November in your superhero costumes to showcase your lantern and light up the city centre.
