Derbyshire Communities Lottery is being set up to give each person living in a Derbyshire Parish, Ward or District the opportunity to contribute to funds needed for community projects in their local area. At the same time, this prize draw provides a chance to win a locally based prize.
You may already know someone who makes use of a local group or club, you may wish to help without the input of volunteer hours, you may just wish to have a simple, minimum outlay knowing you are supporting a worthy cause.
For all these reasons, Derbyshire Communities Lottery is being set up by Amber Valley CVS with the expertise of Gatherwell on the principle of raising money within the community for the community.
A ticket for Derbyshire Communities Lottery costs £1 a week and 60p will go directly to good causes! All supporters will get the chance to win prizes of up to £25,000 for just £1 per week.
Every ticket has a 1 in 50 chance of winning a prize every week – that’s a better chance than Premium Bonds, the National Lottery or the Health Lottery!
