Amber Valley Indoor Walks

We are working in collaboration with Walk Derbyshire and Move More Amber Valley to bring a creative health approach to a series of new indoor walking sessions in Amber Valley.

 

Beth Sheldon, Creative in Place for Erewash and Amber Valley will be co-leading the sessions to bring storytelling, creative experiences and the outdoors in to these sessions – designed to support people who are not confident of physically able to walk outdoors or on uneven ground and who may have access or support needs, this inclusive environment will support gentle exercise and help build confidence and friendships in a supported and no pressure setting. Refreshments will also be provided!

 

  • Starts: Thursday 24 September (Week 1 of a 4-week introductory block)
  • Location: Riddings Community Centre, West Street, Riddings, Alfreton, Derbyshire. DE55 4EW
  • Time: 1.00pm to 3.00pm

– Free parking
