Join Stevie for this festive themed fused glass workshop. Think traditional holly wreath greens and reds or a contemporary design with frosty whites and blues to make your own decorative panel. You’ll be given a round glass base, approx. 17cm, for you to decorate however you like with glass rods, frit balls and cut glass tiles. This can become a hanging or a “plate” for pretty things or candles to be enjoyed by everyone on the centre of your festive table.
Get making by snipping glass rods, placing colourful frit and small pieces of precut glass, these processes are suitable for all. The main thing to remember is to have fun! You will play with different types of decorative glass elements and learn a little about how the kiln firing will change them. Simply complete your design during the session and leave it at the studio for Stevie to fire, finish and clean up for you.
£40 per person, booking essential. Session runs 10.30am to 12noon.
