Garden Wire ‘Allium’ Sculptures

Join Our Wire Sculpture Workshop

Come and create three striking wire allium ‘flowers’ to stand tall in your garden — sculptural, elegant and handmade entirely by you. Your tutor, Fay, will guide you through every step, showing you how to shape, twist and build beautiful wire forms that look stunning outdoors all year round.

What You’ll Do

  • Shape and form wire stems for height and structure
  • Create three individual allium heads using simple sculpting techniques
  • Twist, wrap and secure wire for strength and durability
  • Experiment with scale and spacing to create natural, organic forms
  • Finish your sculptures ready for outdoor display

  • Anyone seeking a mindful, creative morning No experience is needed. If you can hold and bend wire, you’ll be absolutely fine — Fay will guide you with patience and clarity.

You’ll leave with three tall, eye-catching wire alliums ready to display proudly in your garden.

What to Bring

  • Thick gardening gloves (if you don’t have any, just let us know — we can help)
  • Reading glasses if needed
  • Your curiosity and a willingness to enjoy the process

Workshop Details

  • Time: 10am – 1pm
  • Arrival: From 9:30am for a warm welcome and a cuppa
  • Group size: Limited to 8 people for a friendly, supportive atmosphere

Cost

£35 + 79p card fee This includes all materials, tools, tuition and refreshments.

This workshop is all about creativity rather than perfection. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, play with shape and scale, and enjoy the tactile process of sculpting. We want you to leave feeling inspired, relaxed and proud of what you’ve created.
