Join Our Punch Needle Embroidery Workshop
Your tutor, Sarah Francis, is looking forward to welcoming you and sharing her love of relaxing, tactile textile crafts … including the joy of “colouring in with yarn” using punch needle embroidery.
What You’ll Do
- Learn how punch needle embroidery works and why it’s such a soothing craft
- Choose your materials and equipment with Sarah’s guidance
- Make your first punch needle stitches and build confidence quickly
- Work from a pre‑drawn autumn design or create your own if you’re feeling inspired
- Use up leftover yarn — perfect for reducing waste and getting creative

No experience is needed. If you can hold a tool and guide it through fabric, you’ll be absolutely fine. Sarah will guide you through each step with kindness and encouragement.

- All materials and equipment
- Pre‑drawn autumn designs (or blank fabric if you want to draw your own)
- A printed “how‑to” guide to take home
- Refreshments throughout the afternoon
- Support from an experienced tutor
You’ll leave with your own punch needle artwork, ready to display, gift or continue developing at home.
What to Bring
- Reading glasses if needed
- Your lunch, or money to buy food locally (if you haven’t had chance to eat beforehand … we can give you cutlery, plate etc!)
- Your curiosity and a willingness to enjoy the process
Workshop Details
- Time: 1.30pm – 4:30pm
- Arrival: From 1pm for a warm welcome and a cuppa
- Group size: Limited to 8 people for a friendly, supportive atmosphere
Cost
£35 + 79p card fee This includes all the materials needed to create your punch needle piece and refreshments during the afternoon.
