Your tutor, Jennifer, is looking forward to welcoming you and sharing her love of creative glasswork. Enjoy a relaxing, creative morning making something beautiful … your own handmade stained glass windchime … ready to hang in your garden to catch the summer light and create a gentle, tinkling song.

What You’ll Do

• Cut glass safely and practice shaping pieces with confidence
• Drill holes in glass ready for threading and assembling
• Create your own windchime using coloured glass or offcuts
• Thread fishing wire, add beads and assemble your chimes

You Will Explore

• Choosing coloured glass to create light-catching effects
• Smoothing and finishing edges for a polished result
• Designing a balanced windchime that sings gently in the breeze
• The joy of hands-on making, problem-solving and mindful creativity

This Workshop Is Perfect For

• One parent attending with a young person aged 14+  … NB: Just buy the child ticket so you can make your one windchime together

• Adults wanting a creative, happy morning

• Complete beginners

• Anyone who enjoys hands-on, practical making

No experience is needed. If you can focus, follow simple steps, and apply light pressure when cutting, you’ll be absolutely fine. Jennifer will guide you through each step.

Workshop Details

• Time: 10am – 12.30pm

• Arrival: From 9:30am for a warm welcome and a cuppa

• Group size: Limited to 8 people for a friendly, supportive atmosphere

Cost

£34 + 77p card fee. This includes all the materials needed to create your stained glass windchime and refreshments during the morning.
