What's on

Your tutor, Pippa, is looking forward to welcoming you and sharing a relaxed, creative afternoon of jewellery upcycling; turning forgotten preloved costume jewellery into something unique, wearable and completely your own. Come and redesigning your upcycled costume jewellery into beautiful new pieces with a fresh purpose.
• Complete beginners … Please note: we will be working with small pliers and small components, so this workshop is best suited to those with some fine motor ability. You will not be rushed, there will be plenty of time to work at your own pace.
• Those with a little jewellery-making experience
• Anyone who loves the idea of upcycling and sustainable making
• People who enjoy working with beads, charms and vintage finds
• Anyone who wants to make something personal, meaningful and wearable
No experience is needed, just a willingness to have a go.
Pippa will guide you through each step, offering plenty of one-to-one support and encouragement in a friendly, relaxed setting.
You’ll leave with two finished upcycled jewellery pieces:
✨ a kilt pin and a one-of-a-kind bangle, ready to wear.
• Reading glasses if needed
• Pieces of costume jewellery, beads, charms, or broken items you are happy to take apart
• Quirky vintage finds or interesting objects (optional)
Most importantly, bring your curiosity and enjoy the process.
• Time: 1.30pm – 3:30pm
• Arrival: From 1pm for a warm welcome and a cuppa
• Group size: Limited to 8 people for a friendly, supportive atmosphere
£27.35 + 67p card fee.
This includes all the materials needed to create your upcycled kilt pin and bangle, plus refreshments during the afternoon.
