Waymarkers Exhibition Celebrating Textile Practices

Event details

Waymarkers Exhibition
9–25 April 2026

Waymarkers is an exhibition celebrating the richness of local textile practices.

Waymarkers refers to the signs or symbols that guide people along a route, the markers that help you stay oriented, show where you are, and indicate how far you have travelled or have yet to go. The title reflects both the practical waymarking within textile practices, the stitches, counts or markers that help makers navigate their work, and the ways textiles can also mark moments in our lives or journeys we’ve taken.

Exhibition Opening Hours:
Thursdays & Saturdays, 10am–4pm
9-25th April at Milestone Studios & Gallery, Unit 3 Rock Mill Lane, New Mills, SK22 3BN.
