NEW for Spring 2026. Based on my own sculptural work, I have adapted the process to enable you to make your own contemporary sculpture in the 2hr workshop. Cut and layer colourful glass into a panel, then if you want, I will mount into wood and prepare it ready for you to display in your garden.
Cut and layer pieces of colourful glass with some extra special sparkle to create your own glass panel approx 30x10cm. Learn to cut sheet glass and build varying gradients of colour in the fun and experimental session. The result, a unique piece of glass art.
You could keep your panel as a slab of glass and display/mount in your home (I’m happy to advise about wall mounts etc) or, as this workshop was originally designed, leave your panel with me to mount into treated wood, and affix metal legs, ready for you to place in your garden, for all year round colour.
Simply complete your design during the session and leave it at the studio for me to fire, finish and clean up for you. We will make arrangements to pick up a approx 3 weeks later.
I will talk through all the Health & Safety in the session but I want you to know now, you will be handling precut glass pieces, they have pointy ends but with the right handling, they won’t hurt you. Recommended for ages 13+, all under 16s to be accompanied by a paying adult.
