Derby Market Hall’s new calendar of speciality markets and festivals

Following the success of the new Farmers’ Markets, Derby Market Hall is launching an exciting variety of events and speciality markets in partnership with Derby Uncovered. The upcoming programme will highlight local artisans, vintage memorabilia, and festivals celebrating craft beers, wines, and spirits, further cementing the Market Hall as a central hub for culture and community.

The calendar kicks off with Artisans Uncovered over the weekend of 7-8 March from 10am-4pm. Visitors can explore a lively space brimming with handcrafted goods and local flavours, offering a perfect chance to support small businesses and regional creatives. The event will return on 11-12 July and 10-11 October.

For history and nostalgia lovers, the Vintage and Memorabilia Fairs will take place on the weekends of 11-12 July and 10-11 October from 10am until 4pm. Collectors and independent traders will share timeless treasures and nostalgic keepsakes within the historic hall.

In the summer, the Derby History Festival, which takes place on the weekend of 22-23 August from 10am-5pm, will bring the city’s past to life through immersive exhibitions and expert storytelling.

Drink enthusiasts can enjoy the Craft Beers, Wines and Spirits Festivals on Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June and Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October (1pm–10pm). These festivals celebrate independent brewers and distillers, offering bold flavours and festival energy in one of Derby’s most iconic locations.

Finally, don’t miss the eerily enchanting Haunted Derby Festival on the weekend of 17-18 October, from 10am-5pm, featuring ghostly tales and interactive encounters for all ages.
