NON-PRESECRIPTIVE is Arts Derbyshire’s Living Newspaper – the first edition was published in July 2025 and printed 2,000 copies circulated, alongside the digital version which is freely available to access online. Whilst the newspaper is targeted at those who work with / within social prescribing and the primary care network, there’s an abundance of interesting content that can inspire and educate more broadly on the work that is going on across medicine, arts, culture, sports and beyond to support non-medical approached to health and wellbeing.
This month, we would like to spotlight the DEEP DIVE Case Studies that highlight the hidden work that is happening within social prescribing, changing people’s lives through non-medical interventions. This work links to all of the behind-the-scenes conversations, connections, research and person entered approaches that we are honing in one through Creatives in Place. So, let’s zoom in on all of the things that are going on behind the scenes to truly appreciate what goes into these roles… “Let’s understand what this work really takes”.
