Prepare for an afternoon of swing, sparkle and seasonal cheer as the Belper Jazz Company teams up with acclaimed vocalist Jeanie Barton for a special Christmas-themed concert at Bakewell’s historic Town Hall on Saturday, 20 December 2025 at 3:00 PM.
This festive performance promises toe-tapping jazz arrangements of beloved holiday classics in the hands of the Belper Jazz Company’s seasoned trio – pianist Neil Hunter, double bassist Paul nGray, and drummer Ian Beestin – joined by the fabulous singer Jeanie Barton. Audiences can expect favourites such as White Christmas, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Sleigh Ride and I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus, all given a fresh, upbeat jazz flavour.
Hosted in the Assembly Room Theatre at Bakewell Town Hall (The Square, Bakewell DE45 1BT), the event offers an intimate yet festive setting in the heart of Derbyshire.

About the Artists
The Belper Jazz Company is a Derbyshire based jazz trio known for its versatility and compelling live performances. They regularly collaborate with leading UK and international artists and have built a strong reputation on the UK jazz scene.
Jeanie Barton brings warmth, sophistication and unmistakable swing to the stage – her voice and presence making her one of the region’s standout jazz vocalists. She was voted ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Marlborough Jazz Festival in 2015.
