Winter Woods
Join us as the woods turn to winter and get to know your local trees by their bark, their twigs and the secrets they hold! We’ll be gathering fallen leaves, twigs and any nuts we can find to build our own records of tree stories. We can print seasonal cards from leaves, draw beech nuts and conkers and make plaster casts of twigs, buds and nuts
(We hope it won’t actually be snowing like in the picture – but this is winter in Buxton, so you never know!)
The is event is free and no booking or tickets are needed
Materials are provided: you bring the smiles and a helpful grown-up
Find us in the classroom at the Visitor Centre: DON’T BELIEVE THE MAP PIN! WE WILL BE IN THE CLASSROOM BY THE VISITOR CENTRE. CAR PARK ON GREEN LANE/TEMPLE ROAD, SK17 9DH
