Take a look at Serendipity’s Spotlight for July from Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage!
Patricia Vester’s exhibition You Have Eyes to See the Nice TOO is now open in Serendipity’s Corner Gallery. Vester is an illustrator and artist based in Potsdam, Germany and invites viewers into a bold visual world where colour, form and line come together to reframe how people see and feel. The striking exhibition containing over 40 works of art is open to the public to visit between July and September, Monday to Friday, 10am – 5:00pm.
This week Bloomberg Philanthropies announced that over 1,000 cultural organisations are now live on the app! With over 5 million users and partners spanning over 35 countries, the Bloomberg Connects app aims to make arts and culture accessible to all. Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage’s guide among many others across the UK and beyond are featured on Bloomberg Connects. Highlighting their current events and heritage projects, the Serendipity guide is a great free tool for those wishing to engage in Serendipity’s work remotely.

Writing East Midlands presents Meet the Agents for Global Majority Writers. The event, aimed at aspiring authors, will provide advice and insight into securing a literary agent. Writing East Midlands have gathered experts from each step of the traditional publishing process, from editor to agent to publisher, bringing them together for an informative and interactive panel discussion and workshop.
