SAVE THE DATE: BIF 2025 Launch – You’re Invited!

Join us for a special launch event for the 2025 Festival on Wednesday 28 May at 6pm, at the Pavilion Arts Centre.

Join us for an exclusive preview of this year’s Festival, including performances by our Young Artists from Hamlet and Shorts, featuring arias, duets, trios – and the rousing finale from Mozart’s Impresario.

Hear from Book Festival Director Victoria Dawson in a light-hearted chat about curating the programme, and enjoy jazz from Peak District singer-songwriter Hannah Brine, who’s making her BIF debut supporting Rumer at the Opera House on 20 July. Inspired by the Great American Songbook, Hannah’s voice has drawn comparisons to Carole King, Norah Jones, as well as Rumer.
