Artist profile
Ceilidhs for all occasions
The Bash Street Band is based in Sheffield, England. We play traditional dance music, mostly celtic style, for ceilidhs at weddings, parties, universities, schools, fund-raisers and gatherings of all sorts.
The band members are Joyce Scaife, our dance caller and MC, Sally Gay on flute, Steve Brook on guitar and Jon Scaife on fiddle and cittern. We’re joined on occasions by our friends Clive Opie on fiddle, Geof Trend on guitar, and Charlie Smallwood on whistles and mandolin.
Reviews:
‘I am planning another barn dance … we would not consider using any other band.’ Carole
‘Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day so special.’ Rob and Jane
‘You were all utterly superb! We were very impressed, bowled over by your skills as musicians, callers and people organisers – just excellent.’ Charlotte
