Join Stevie Davies for this exciting workshop to create a fabulous flower piece for your home or garden. You will enjoy cutting and laying coloured glass and decorative details to make a unique piece. I will teach you how to cut simple shapes out of sheet glass, we’ll have a practice and then I will guide you through a specific technique I use to shape your colourful petals. This limits you a little to the style of petals BUT I am convinced you’ll get better results this way. I am happy to answer any questions before you book if needs be. We will then use a clear glass circle as a base (approx. 17cm) to layer your petals up with extra details, cut glass tiles, rods and frit.
Choose a vibrant red poppy, a golden sunflower, or talk to me about your favourite colours.
I will talk through all the Health & Safety in the session but I want you to know now, you will be handling pre-cut glass pieces, they have pointy ends but with the right handling, they won’t hurt you. Recommended for ages 13+, all under 16s to be accompanied by a paying adult.
