This Finnish 'melancomedy' - part melancholic love story, part deliciously deadpan comedy - is a clever adaptation of the Cannes Film Festival Grand Prix award-winning film by Aki Kaurismaki, one of Finland's greatest modern storytellers. An anonymous man is set upon by thugs in a Helsinki park. Left with amnesia, he is taken in by an eccentric homeless community living in genteel contentment in abandoned shipping containers on the shoreline. Beginning an accidental romance with a nice Salvation Army lass, he is freed to start putting life back together again. But the past doesn't leave him alone for long... A compassionate, heart-warming tale played against a cracking live soundtrack, this is impassive, impressive stuff, laced with social insight and gentle, quirky humour.

Reynard: rascal, rapscallion, rogue. The woodlands most infamous scoundrel prides himself on being the trickiest trickster of the forest. But when the Woodland Court announces the theft of the King's Crown Jewels the animal kingdom immediately blames Reynard the Fox. Now, the wily Reynard must do everything he can to prove his innocence and avoid certain death, all the while maintaining his cool, suave persona. But is he too silver-tongued for his own good? Is the fox out-foxed? Or will his quick wits save his tail? Will he live to make mischief another day? An utterly beguiling, cheerfully anarchic show weaving together very funny storytelling, delightful puppetry and terrific original live music. Family fun at its finest.

Happy 50th birthday (pretty much) to hugely influential musical trailblazers turned national treasures Fairport Convention. Here Fairport co-founder and 'Guv'nor of British folk-rock' Ashley Hutchings traces the band's early years, its triumphs, its tragedies, and it's acknowledged origination of English folk-rock. In this very special 'spoken word and music' celebration, Ashley draws from his 1967 diary to vividly paint the group's formation and the late sixties music scene and is joined on reworkings of songs from his Fairport career by the impressive singer/guitarist Becky Mills: folk-rock history spooling before your very eyes and ears.
