What's on
The Workshop
Your tutor, Helen, is looking forward to meeting you and says: “Using pre-cut traditional lino and water-based inks, come and have a go at printing a range of colour prints in a variety of ways. You’ll also have the opportunity to cut your own small design into lino to print onto cards.
You will create a collection of beautiful colourful prints and cards to take away and frame or to impress your friends and family with your new skills.
If you’ve got some gel prints that you’ve made at a previous workshop, you could print onto those as they make great backgrounds for lino-prints.
What is the cost?
£38.50 + 84p card fee This includes all the materials needed to make your lino printed cards and refreshments during the morning (excluding lunch)
How many places are available?
To ensure the quality of your personal experience, the group size is limited to 8.
What are the timings?
This is a relaxed, morning running from 10am to 12.30pm.
Our purple front door will be open from 9.30am so we can welcome you in, you can get to meet Helen and your fellow crafters and grab a cuppa before you start.
What skills are needed?
No experience is necessary. If you fancy cutting lino yourself, you will need to have fair grip strength, to hold onto the cutter tool and apply pressure to the lino to make your cuts.
