Jeanie, a passionate and dedicated vocalist, has been honing her craft for over a decade.
Her musical journey began with formative experiences as a principal in the National Youth Music Theatre, sparking a lifelong pursuit of musical excellence.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a deep love for jazz, Jeanie sought out opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills.
She delved into the intricacies of jazz harmony at Morley College and further refined her improvisational abilities through private studies with renowned BBC Jazz award winner Anita Wardell.
Jeanie’s talent and dedication quickly earned her a place in the vibrant London jazz scene. For over ten years, she enchanted audiences as the singer and compére for bebop legend Laurie Morgan’s trio at their celebrated residency, “Downstairs at The King’s Head.”
