Stitching Ashbourne is about community, creativity, and connection. Together, we will create a large-scale embroidered textile work that celebrates the built and cultural heritage of Ashbourne.
Surrounding a centerpiece depicting some of Ashbourne’s most iconic buildings will be over 100 hand stitched squares, each one telling a unique story, memory, or celebration of what Ashbourne means to its people. Whether you’re 6 or 95, this is your chance to stitch your story into Ashbourne’s history.
Come along, bring a friend, and be part of something truly special. Together, we’ll stitch Ashbourne’s story. Tickets available here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/stitching-ashbourne-launch-workshop-tickets-1702811969439
This and all Stitching Ashbourne workshops are free to attend. Donations towards the project are very welcome via our crowdfunding page. https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/stitching-ashbourne
