David Barker - Freelance Dance Artist: Street, Hip Hop, Break and Con...

I started out my dance career at the Derby Dance Centre in 2000 where I became an experienced dance teacher specialising in street / break dance for age 10 yrs . Leading and choreographing an all boys contemporary dance company, taking them to perform at the Youth Dance England Platform, Birmingham in July 2005. Also leading classes with pupils from the Special Educational Needs Support Service and working extensively with community and youth based dance groups.Since my departure in 2006 I have continued to teach my skills as a freelance dance artist.

I have taught all over the country to a wide range of groups. I relate well to those I work with and my enthusiastic and energetic delivery helps to motivate and engage all students. My main strengths would be my professional approach, enthusiasm and my knowledge of a range of dance styles.
