Lynn Ludditt is one of Derbyshire’s most active artists. Working with drama, literature, workshops, and community events Lynn has helped to improve the cultural life of Derbyshire immeasurably.
Lynn is a Derbyshire artist with a very active career. As well as a published author in her own right and award-winning trainer Lynn is also passionately involved with local community projects in Derbyshire. From youth groups to work with elderly residents, Lynn utilises her unique talents to help provide inspirational projects that improve community life throughout Derbyshire.
Group activity days such as the ‘ ‘‘Back in the Day’’ Reminiscence Workshop ’ focus on the lives and stories of Derbyshire residents. Using activities and various artefacts people are helped to recollect life stories to be recorded for future generations. These workshops ensure invaluable stories and local history are documented and kept safe, whilst at the same time providing on open and safe space for meet and talk.
Lynn also works with drama groups creating material for local dramatists to work with and adapt for their own performances. In addition to this Lynn also helps local residents write and perform their own material, providing access to the techniques of dramatic writing and the joy of performance.
