Chinese New Year; Lauch event 6th Feb. 10.30-3.30pm, Chinese lantern making workshops at Erewash Museum, High Street Ilkeston. Suitbale for all the family.
Finale event, 13th Feb. 10.30-4pm lantern making.
A magical lantern procession will leave Erewash Museum at 5.30pm, parading through Ilkeston town centre, leading to a spectacular dance with the giant tiger and dragon on the Market Square, performed by local children.There will also be fan and ribbon dancing, plus Chinese music.
A Chinese Extravaganza for all the family!

Artforms: Paper, Textiles, Paper, All participatory arts

Cost: workshop activity £1 per lantern, event is FREE
