The inland resort of Buxton resonates with Victorian splendour and this gentle guided walking tour, lasting approximately three hours, offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of this beautiful spa town. Experience a stroll through the Pavilion Gardens on your way to afternoon tea in the restaurant and learn more about the development and restoration of these Grade 2 status gardens from the head gardener. Imagine """"taking the waters"""", as knowledgeable guides bring the history of the spa town to life. Discover more about the development of the town in the 21st century and taste samples of produce from local artisans as you talk, walk and nosh your way around this architectural gem of a town. The tour lasts three hours and includes food sampling from local artisans and the quintessentially British experience of afternoon tea served in the Victorian Pavilion,a wonderful historic venue situated in the heart of Buxton nestling in 23 acres of recently restored pleasure gardens.
