The Next Generation: Young Women Writers from Derbyshire

A Derbyshire Literature Festival event Tickets on sale from Monday 19th March and can also be booked through any Derbyshire library. River Wolton will be in conversation with up and coming writers Chelsey Flood, Helen Mort and Emma Pass. Discussing the challenges and joys of having early success in writing and whatís new and different in the changing face of publishing. Chelsey Flood has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, where she won the Curtis Brown Award. Her first novel Infinite Sky will be published by Simon and Schuster in 2013. Helen Mortís latest poetry collection Division Street will be published by Chatto & Windus in 2013. She has won several awards for her poetry and in 2010 became the youngest ever poet in residence at the Wordsworth Trust. Emma Pass writes Young Adult fiction.
