The Art Lounge, New Mills, presents it's first solo exhibition.
Preview evening on 9th February
Work by Bolton based artist Davlo will be challenging aspects of modern living and society and indeed some commonly held views about what art is -
the exhibition promises a response to issues such as ageing, multiculturalism, the third world, celebrity and consumerism, with some “finger pointing” and a good deal of humour.
Keen eyed art enthusiasts may well be able to pick up a piece for free as during the preview week Davlo will be leaving a limited number of his works around the New Mills town centre area.
The exhibition opens with a preview evening - 7pm, Thursday 9th February, we hope you can make it!
