Applications are open from Friday 8 November till noon on 6 December 2013.
The EMI Music Sound Foundation provides: Instrument and/or Equipment awards which allows schools, music teachers and individuals in full time education to apply directly to the Foundation for assistance with the purchase of musical instruments and/or equipment; Bursary awards which allow students at the colleges/organisations detailed below to apply for assistance with fees and/or living expenses (these are handled directly by the college/organisation).

The Wolfson Foundation has announced that its Secondary Education Programme is open for applications.
Deadline for Stage 1 applications is the 30th November 2013
The Heritage Lottery Fund has announced that organisations will be able to apply for grants of more than £10,000 and up to £50,000 through the Young Roots programme.
Heart Research UK has announced the next funding round under its Healthy Heart Grants Scheme will open on the 1st July 2013.
The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has announced that the next funding round of its Inspiring Women in Enterprise will open on the 3rd June 2013.
The Santander Foundation has launched a new £1.23 million Community Plus fund to support charities helping local disadvantaged people across the UK. UK registered charities can apply for a grant of up to £5,000. The funding must be for a specific project that helps disadvantaged people. For example this could be for a piece of equipment or to pay for the costs of a part time sessional worker.
The performing Rights Society for Music Foundation (PRS) has announced that it will launch a new Music Industry Talent Development Fund.
The new fund will open for applications in May 2013.
The Foyle Foundation's - Small Grants Scheme is looking to help small charities operating in the areas of the arts and learning.
This £3 million scheme is administered and provided by the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) - it follows on from the success of HLF's one-off grant scheme 'All Our Stories'.
