  • The second round of Into Film outreach funding is now available.
    Deadline: 7th May

  • Under the Sita Trust's Enhancing Communities Programme Core Fund, grants of up to £60,000 are available to not for profit organisations, community groups, schools, parish councils, local authorities and charities for projects that make physical improvements to community facilities and historic buildings / structures.

  • The Carnegie UK Trust has announced that it is offering up to ten not-for-profit organisations from the UK and Ireland the opportunity to win grants worth £3,000 to hold inspiring debates on how to improve people’s wellbeing.

  • The next deadline for applications to the Creative Employment Programme is the 25th April 2014. The £15 million, National Lottery funded programme aims to increase work and training opportunities for unemployed young people within the creative sector.

  • The Fidelio Trust Grants Programme (UK)
    The next deadline for applications is the 1st June 2014.

  • As a result of a review of the BIS Science and Society programme, the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) has launched a new grants programme.

     The closing date for applications is 16 May 2014

  • The Foundation will be running a series of funding workshops in April and May;  Derbyshire Community Foundation manage a number of different funds, providing small grants to support a wide range of voluntary and community groups across the Derby city and the county.

  • The scheme allows individuals to apply for a loan of between £100 and £5,000 for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument completely interest free.

  • The Elephant Trust has announced that the next deadline for applications is the 14th April 2014.

  • The Technology Strategy Board has announced that it is to invest up to £8million in a competition to encourage new ways of attracting people back to UK high streets.

  • BBC Children in Need has announced that the next applications deadline for its Main Grants Programme is the 15th May 2014

  • The Government has announced a new £10 million financial support scheme that will help voluntary organisations take over the running of public services in their communities. The Community Right to Challenge Grant Programme complements the wider Community Assets and Services Programme.

  • The Arts Council England has announced that its National Portfolio Funding Programme 2015 - 18 is now open for applications.

  • The People's Postcode Trust has announced that its small grants programme is due to re-open for applications on the January 2014.

  • European culture, cinema, television, music, literature, performing arts, heritage and related areas will benefit from increased support under the European Commission's new Creative Europe programme, which was approved by the European Parliament on 19 November and by the Council of the EU on 5 December 2013.

  • The registered charity, Concertina which makes grants to charitable bodies which provide musical entertainment and related activities for the elderly has announced that the next deadline for applications is the 30th April 2014.

  • An opportunity to apply for grants of above £50,000 through the Exceptional Awards scheme.

  • Small businesses in Derbyshire can now bid for grants of up to £75,000 as part of a £3m drive to help firms develop and grow. Funding will be available until 31 March 2015

  • The Heritage Lottery Fund has announced that organisations will be able to apply for grants of more than £10,000 and up to £50,000 through the Young Roots programme.

  • Comic Relief has announced that it is working with the UK Community Foundation (UKCF) to deliver its Local Communities programme.
    The Local Communities programme will run for two years (2013-2015) and during this time, grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 will be available.

  • The Government has announced that a partnership that brings together promising businesses and successful entrepreneurs along with government and private sector investment has been extended across the UK.

  • Support is available for community projects which explore, conserve and share the heritage of the First World War.

  • The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has announced that the next funding round of its Inspiring Women in Enterprise will open on the 3rd June 2013.

  • The Santander Foundation has launched a new £1.23 million Community Plus fund to support charities helping local disadvantaged people across the UK. UK registered charities can apply for a grant of up to £5,000. The funding must be for a specific project that helps disadvantaged people. For example this could be for a piece of equipment or to pay for the costs of a part time sessional worker.
