  • Rosa the UK Fund for women and girls has launched a new £2.2 million "Women to Women" Fund. Supported using funds from the ‘Tampon Tax, local women's organisations across the UK can apply for grants of up to £25,000 to support a wide range of charitable work that benefits women from building confidence and leadership skills, tackling harassment and violence, to training in financial literacy and increasing engagement in decision-making; etc.

  • The Fawcett Society, which is one of the UK's leading charity campaigning for gender equality and women's rights has launched the Spirit of Women Changemakers Small Grants Programme. The Spirit of Women Changemakers small grants programme has been launched to mark and celebrate the centenary of the iconic moment in 1918 when women first won the right to vote. Changemakers will fund projects that creatively challenge the damaging gender norms and stereotypes which continue to limit women's freedom to express themselves and live as the lives they choose.

  • The scheme is offering a number of small grants for a wide range of projects in the DerwentWISE landscape.

  • The Santander Bank has teamed up with Crowdfunder to launch new £200,000 fund to support social enterprises and community projects across the UK.

  • The Fidelio Trust has announced that the next closing date for applications is the 1st February 2017.

  • Wren’s Community Action Fund has re-opened to applications for projects taking place in areas of England and Wales close to Waste Recycling Group landfill sites.

  • The Commissioner is inviting funding applications which help to deliver his Police and Crime Plan priorities.

  • UK registered charities and recognised churches which are raising money for capital projects (building work, refurbishment or the purchase of long-term equipment) or a one-off short term activity (such as an annual respite break or holiday for disadvantaged young people) can apply for funding through the Rank Foundation - Small Appeals programme.

  • Schools, charities and not for profit organisations wishing to encourage young people's interest in the countryside and the environment, the arts or aiming to raise levels of literacy and numeracy can apply for funding to the Ernest Cook Trust.

  • Telecom's Regulator Ofcom has announced that the Community Radio Fund will re-open for applications on the 19th October 2016.

  • Registered Charities that work with young people have the opportunity to apply for grants through the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People (formerly the Hilton Foundation) Central Grants Programme.

  • Digital Arts & Creative Ageing is a collaborative grant funding programme developed by Nominet Trust and The Baring Foundation.

    The Celebrating Age programme is jointly funded by Arts Council England and the Baring Foundation and supports the shared objectives of both organisations.

  • The Santander Foundation has changed its name to the Discovery Foundation.
