  • Youth Music, the UK's largest children's music charity, has announced that its grant making programme will re-open for applications in autumn 2014.

  • Accelerator is IdeasTap‘s new commission-free crowdfunding platform. As an arts charity and funder, IdeasTap has been helping creative people to get their ideas off the ground for years. Now it’s offering its members a way to raise project funding themselves – without the commission fees other crowdfunding platforms charge.

  • This grant stream is now open for applications from community group, third sector and public sector organisations - the Commissioner is inviting applications for grants which assist in Crime Prevention in Derbyshire.

  • The John Ellerman Foundation has announced that it has funding of £380,000 available to help regional museums and galleries in the UK.

  • The Shackleton Foundation provide up to £10,000 of seed funding and support to enable aspiring leaders and social entrepreneurs to establish their own ventures to help young people in challenging circumstances.

  • The Foundation has opened its new grant programmes for registered charities in England and Wales. The new strategy and funding programme is investing in charities that support people to break out of disadvantage at critical points in their lives, and promote practical approaches to lasting change.

  • The scheme allows individuals to apply for a loan of between £100 and £5,000 for the purchase of any kind of musical instrument completely interest free.
