  • IdeasTap, a non-for-profit initiative supports young creative people between 16 and 30 years of age, has announced that its Ideas Fund Innovators is open to applications.

  • Heart Research UK has announced that its Health Hearts Grants Programme is open for applications.

  • The David Canter Memorial Fund offers grants to those working in the crafts for special projects, travel for specific research and for educational work.

  • This Bursary is offered is in memory of Adam Reynolds who died in 2005. Adam was a Chair of Shape and renowned sculptor and activist for disability equality in the arts.

  • The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust which awards grants to registered charities in the United Kingdom has announced that the next closing date for applications is the 1st November 2014.

  • The Carnegie Trust has announced that it will be launching a new programme in September 2014 to support public libraries.

  • The John Ellerman Foundation has announced that it has funding of £380,000 available to help regional museums and galleries in the UK.

  • The Lloyds Bank Enterprise Awards will offer students and graduates in England, Scotland and Wales the chance to win up to £50,000.

  • The Performing Right Society (PRS) has announced that its Women Make Music grant scheme is now open for applications.

  • The Coalfields Regeneration Trust is currently inviting applications from community and voluntary organisations throughout England's Coalfield Communities who are contributing to the regeneration of their communities.

  • Funding is available under the Wellcome Trust's Peoples and Society Awards for projects that encourage public debate and understanding of biomedical science.

  • The Ernest Hecht Charitable Foundation awards grants that benefit the disadvantaged.

  • The Shackleton Foundation provide up to £10,000 of seed funding and support to enable aspiring leaders and social entrepreneurs to establish their own ventures to help young people in challenging circumstances.

  • The Tudor Trust makes grants, and provides other types of support, to voluntary and community groups working in any part of the UK.

  • The Foundation haopened its new grant programmes for registered charities in England and Wales. The new strategy and funding programme is investing in charities that support people to break out of disadvantage at critical points in their lives, and promote practical approaches to lasting change.

  • The Big Lottery Fund has announced that it will launch a new £150 million fund to support the development of sustainable community-led enterprises.

  • Youth Music, the UK's largest children's music charity, has announced that its grant making programme will re-open for applications in autumn 2014.

  • Schools, charities and not-for-profit organisations wishing to encourage young people's interest in the countryside and the environment, the arts or aiming to raise levels of literacy and numeracy can apply for funding to the Ernest Cook Trust (ECT).

  • Telecom's Regulator Ofcom, has announced that the Community Radio Fund is now open for applications.

  • Under the Sita Trust's Enhancing Communities Programme Core Fund, grants of up to £60,000 are available to not for profit organisations, community groups, schools, parish councils, local authorities and charities for projects that make physical improvements to community facilities and historic buildings / structures.

  • The Carnegie UK Trust has announced that it is offering up to ten not-for-profit organisations from the UK and Ireland the opportunity to win grants worth £3,000 to hold inspiring debates on how to improve people’s wellbeing.
