Mini-mobile library saga writing competition

Your chance to be creative! Write a ‘mini-saga’ using a mobile library as the setting or theme as part of the Derbyshire Literature Festival.  A mini-saga is a story which has exactly 50 words (not 49 or 51!). Visit your local mobile library for inspiration.

Winning entries will be published on the Festival website:  www.derbyshire.gov.uk/festival and on www.artsderbyshire.org.uk

Entry Rules:

Entry to the competition is free
It is open to everyone in four age categories:
7 years and under
8 to 11 years
12 to 16 years 
Adult (17 years +)
Your mini-saga must be submitted with a completed entry form.  Download entry form here  (word document).
You may only submit one entry and your name and address should not appear on the mini-saga (only on the entry form)
All entries must be the original work of the author and not have been previously published or broadcast

Closing date:    Friday 11 July 2008
Winners will be notified by: Friday 8 August 2008
