Wanted! Practioners to inspire and work with us at Intake Farm Primary

The school
Intake Farm Primary and Nursery School are excited to be part of Creative Partnerships BAM. Our aim is to be aspirational, to inspire our children, to achieve and celebrate success through a rich and vibrant environment. We are part of the Comenius  project and currently taking part in ‘Reading Recovery’.

The project
Staff and pupils at Intake Farm Primary School wish to work collaboratively with partners to develop creative thinking skills to raise standards in literacy.

We wish to commission creative partners to help us to develop a real learning ‘buzz’ that would infect the whole community, so that parents could share in their children’s learning. We wish to challenge all pupils to enable them to reach their full potential in their literacy and language skills. 

We are looking for practitioners who can engage children in speaking and listening in real situations, to work as a team to include media to create a living set.

We are committed to developing student voice, and involving our pupils in all aspects of the project. 

Person Specification
Essential      
• Experience of working with children or young people and facilitating their ideas, in the community or education sector.
• Ability to provide exciting ways of engaging our children
• Ability to develop the skills and confidence of staff and children
• Ability to plan and work in a team
• Flexibility
• Enhanced CRB
• Public liability insurance
 
Proposed timetable
Planning to commence November 2008 with project delivery between January and June 2009

Fee
A  £3,500 is offered to each practitioner to include planning, delivery and evaluation of the project.
