Derby’s International Photography Festival dates announced

Derby’s international photography festival FORMAT is set to return to the city for the third time from 6th March to 5th April 2009 and will be organised around the theme PHOTOCINEMA. Building on previous success, FORMAT09 will contain high profile exhibitions, a photography conference, master classes, workshops, professional practice opportunities, mass submissions and more.

Artists working with photography and moving image are invited to submit proposals relating to the festival theme for exhibition as part of the EXPOSURE section of the festival, which will be held in 30 non-gallery spaces around the city including bars, cafés, civic buildings and other public access buildings.
