'10 Steps To Event Delivery' is a 2 (or I intensive) day course for individuals and organisations that are planning to produce their own licensed event.
Included in the course:

license.
• Finance Overview including budgeting, money management and cash flow.
• How to work within your resources and produce the most effective successful event.

The 10 step course was originally designed for a local authority, that needed a cost effective way to support events in their area, run by various community and cultural organisations.
The courses success has been in applying the relevant approaches of event organisation into a more manageable and coherent system. Ensuring efficient use of time and simultaneously improving the quality and consistency in delivering safe events.

Harmony in the Community has universal experience of producing cultural events since 1996, from small community gatherings to large scale festivals, parades and carnivals.
Education, training and the individuals personal growth has always been a fundamental element of Harmony's approach. By involving their students in the running of Harmony in the Community on a day to day basis towards the fun project delivery of creative cultural events.
In recent years a formal Harmony education system has been developed that now involves running event production courses (between 1 day and 6 months).
Many of the skills learnt on their courses are transferable to other fields. The training is often about the personal development and empowerment by enabling people to be more confident in themselves and their work. Many of Harmony's graduates, now play a key part in the events industry.
