After Sheffield’s Weston Park Museum was bombed in the notorious Sheffield Blitz the art treasures that survived were put into crates and moved to the safety of Derbyshire. But what might have happened had one of those crates got lost on the way? How was it lost? Who found it? What did they do with its precious contents?

In a fun, friendly workshop with recorder virtuoso Sarah Jeffery, you can delve into various styles of recorder music, with an emphasis on playing together, creative music making and having a good time. Sarah will also perform a concert on all sizes of recorder, journeying from folk to Bach to playing with electronics
Derby Theatre is delighted to announce that Jake Waring from Derbyshire is the second recipient of The Brian Weaver Fellowship.
The Brian Weaver Fellowship was first launched in December 2013, the result of a generous personal donation from Buxton resident, Doreen Weaver, in memory of her late husband, Brian.
