Contemporary Art responses to historic South Asian collections - A Meadow Arts Project

An award-winning artist from Derbyshire has been commissioned by Lancashire County Cricket Club as their official artist capturing this year’s Investec Ashes Series.
Buxton Festival has established a Young Artists Programme involving eight talented young singers, who, having completed their musical training are taking their first steps in the world of professional opera.
The eight young artists will act as understudies for roles in the Festival operas and, in addition, will take part in a number of performances during the Festival’s run, from 5 to 21 July.
Lovers of reading and writing will be spoilt for choice when Derbyshire's libraries push the boat out for an annual celebration of the written word.
We have lined up a string of events for the week before National Reading Group Day on Saturday 29 June.
