Doveridge Village Hall was built in the 1950s to provide a meeting place, and much needed facilities, for activities in a fast growing Doveridge. The Hall is maintained to the highest possible standards. Since October 2008 £27,000 has been spent on a number of improvements including insulating the roof and walls. In February 2010 air conditioning was installed in the main hall, the meeting room and the entrance foyer. The Village Hall is fully accessible to disabled persons, with ramps to all entrances, and all the rooms are on the ground floor. In addition to a large airy main room (seating up to 150 people), the Hall also has a separate small meeting room (for up to 20 people), a full catering kitchen, bar, toilets (including a separate disabled unit) and baby changing facilities. It is fully licensed for liquor, theatre and entertainments.
