Jenny Edwards: Community Dance Artist


Since graduating from Bretton Hall (University of Leeds) with a dance degree in 2001, Jenny's work has taken her as far a field as America, Austria, Romania and Germany. She specialises in providing accessible dance opportunities aimed at celebrating the diversity of each community. The core strands of her practice are early years work with families, young people at risk, the disability community and older adults. As a trained JABADAO ( and DanceAbility ( teacher she approaches each group in a person-centred, non-judgemental way. She undertakes coordination and development work alongside her artistic portfolio of delivery, choreography and performance.
