I am a designer, tutor and traditional print maker and I am inspired by the subject of Time. My work invites quiet reflection, often by evoking memory with the use of time-related imagery and text. The techniques used are screen print, collagraph,dry point, carborundum and mono print. By contrast,I am also inspired by the objects, colours and fabrics in my everyday life and my spontaneous mono prints are a joyful reflection of this. I teach printmaking both at the Derby Quad and privately and have been selected to exhibit my work at this years prestigious Wirksworth Festival.
