Ever wanted to try your hand at mosaic making, but didn’t know where to start? Come along to the mosaic making course at Shire Hall and make that start. Learn what you need to know about converting design ideas so they work in this media, laying out a mosaic, and then get down to the actual creation of a piece of work for your garden. There’s a lot to consider, but it’s not difficult. Mosaic Maker will show you how. Don’t worry if you don’t get it all finished, you will take your newly acquired skill home with you. Hopefully this course will just be the start of a new passion. Bring any source info and design ideas you have (photos, pictures from magazines, objects you like, leaves, etc). Of course bring any old tiles you have lying around. You will be required to wear safety glasses when cutting and breaking tiles.
