Minisite for Derbyshire Contracts Advice Network
Derbyshire Contracts Advice Network (DCAN) helps voluntary and community sector groups in Derbyshire and Derby city to win contracts for service and project delivery. Opportunities to bid for creative services, for instance web design, murals, sculpture and theatre, arise on a regular basis. Our funding requires us to work specifically with not-for profit organisations, so sorry - but we cannot help private businesses or individuals. We provide help in a variety of ways:
Tender Alerts
Contracts come from many sources, for example county and district councils, primary care trusts, ministry of justice. DCAN sends out regular email tender alerts to keep you in touch with opportunities as they arise; just let us know your contact details and we'll add you to our mailing list.
One to one support
Working with individual organisations to make sure you have all the policies and other legal requirements necessary to be eligible to bid. Helping you through the maze of technicalities and to access how delivering the contract might impact on your own organisation. For example we have helped organisations to cost their services so that they don't price too low, or to write safeguarding vulnerable adults and other policies needed.
Networks
Helping you identify other organisations or projects to work in partnership with to deliver contracts and pick up sub-contract opportunities.
