Jenny Mather

I was born and bred in N Yorkshire, studied at the Slade School of Fine Art and had 10 full years in Nigeria as a Christian teacher of Art. Now I'm living in Derbyshire's Peak District painting the interaction between self, creation and creator; my logo word is 'Ruach' the Hebrew Bible word for life force, breath, wind, spirit. My work is full of vigour and movement. As well as individual painting in my studio I run regular studio sessions and therapy workshops. I'm married with 3 sons, 3 daughters in law and 10 grandchildren!
