Minisite for Deb Hampson, Bespoke Handloom Weaver

Learning to weave was a byproduct of a year spent at a school in Sweden as part of my degree, and it is thrilling to be able to spend more time doing it now, nearly thirty years later. My passion is for weaving rugs, especially rag rugs. I love experimenting with new and traditional weave patterns and find the infinite variety of colour and texture available from used cloth really exciting. Why throw something away when it can be made into something practical and even better, beautiful?
